Few more weeks to home!
To compensate the fact that I had only 2 days of Chinese New Year celebration last year, this year shall be a 2 weeks one! =)
Already made a list of food items on a post-it! Meant as a motivation for me to work harder on my Final Year Project. Failing terribly *stomach grumbles* the more I look at it.
WS (the bf) had an exchange roommate once that didn’t believe in recycling. He thinks the energy needed to recycle a single product is more than producing a new product itself. Yesterday I read a random science fact from an article that goes like this.
“Plastic bags are better than paper bags for the environment. The manufacturing process that makes paper bags requires far more energy than that which produces plastic. Recycling paper bags takes more energy than recycling plastic, and paper bags take up more space in a landfill. Because landfills are usually airtight beneath the surface, paper and plastic are equally bad at biodegrading.”
What a confusing world we have.
