So powering on just 3 hours of sleep, I went to the library at an ungodly 9am in the morning with Soo Lim. I’m only taking 3 modules this semester and all of them major Prescribed Elective (YEAY to a HAPPY and FREE semester, WOOHOO) that are very popular. Since the library computer is the fastest and most accurately sync to the server time, I didn’t register back in my room.

So how it goes is you wait for your personalized registration time usually either 9.30 or 1.30 and at the stroke of the second hitting the 9.30.00, you click on the Add Course button like no body’s business.

Well but you see I bet the people who man the system thought it would be funnier to have everyone doing that for a couple of hours. They used to release all the slots at the stroke of allowable time BUT since last semester, they figured why not spice things up a little by releasing them bit by bit.

Last semester I had to register for 7 modules in my room and I only managed to get 3 at at the first go! THE HORROR! so for the next 2 hours I was like a complete idiot clicking Add Course button like crazy, owh and well dont feel bad.. we get to click the refresh button too for every 5 seconds cause the page would expire and you cant click any button WTF.

So today me and Soo Lim thought since we’re at the LIBRARY and we’re only taking 3 modules, wont be so bad right? WRONG! We only managed to get one subject at one go and the other two, history repeats itself again as we click away relentlessly. Thankfully it lasted for only half an hour before we could add the other two.

So there you go, my last course registration =D

Bye bye stupid system.

To compensate the fact that I had only 2 days of Chinese New Year celebration last year, this year shall be a 2 weeks one! =)

Already made a list of food items on a post-it! Meant as a motivation for me to work harder on my Final Year Project. Failing terribly *stomach grumbles* the more I look at it.

WS (the bf) had an exchange roommate once that didn’t believe in recycling. He thinks the energy needed to recycle a single product is more than producing a new product itself. Yesterday I read a random science fact from an article that goes like this.

“Plastic bags are better than paper bags for the environment. The manufacturing process that makes paper bags requires far more energy than that which produces plastic. Recycling paper bags takes more energy than recycling plastic, and paper bags take up more space in a landfill. Because landfills are usually airtight beneath the surface, paper and plastic are equally bad at biodegrading.”

What a confusing world we have.

Be more diligent at plucking eye brows. Seriously I can never get how people can be so discipline.

It makes me feel this small. *show fingers* all the stories told are dated back by the millions and millions years. a simple mistake of calculation could throw everything off by a range of 10MY the least.

and doesn’t it makes u wonder further more? two thousands and nine years are really not that long after all.  how we as the modernized homo-sapiens think we’re all that civilized and superior in just mere thousands of years only.

all things being said, this is still the most dry subject ever in the history of anthropology/psychology/paleontology  that any technology aided tools could date.
